Introducing Product Stock Alerts
Staying on top of inventory just got easier. Our new Product Stock Alerts feature automatically notifies you when stock levels drop too low, giving you time to reorder and avoid stockouts.
What’s New in Stock Alerts?
The new Stock Alerts feature includes:
- Flexible Scope – Apply alerts at the client, warehouse, product, or organization level
- Clear Naming – Label alerts for quick reference and easy management
- Thresholds – Monitor either On Hand (total physical) or Available (ready-to-sell) inventory, with custom trigger points
- Instant Notifications – Receive alerts by email or Slack as soon as thresholds are met
- Multiple Alerts – Create as many alerts as you need, tailored to different products or clients
Why This Matters
Running out of stock can disrupt orders, delay fulfillment, and frustrate customers. Stock Alerts help you:
- Stay ahead of low inventory with automatic notifications
- Prevent costly surprises and stockouts
- Customize alerts for different clients, products, or warehouses
- Choose notification channels that fit your workflow (email or Slack)
How It Works
From the global Stock Alerts page under the Products menu, you can create new alerts and view existing ones in a dedicated table. You can also manage product-specific alerts from the Stock Alerts tab on an individual product’s page.
When inventory falls below the threshold you’ve set, a notification is automatically sent to your chosen channel. Alerts can be as broad or as specific as needed—whether you’re tracking one product or monitoring all stock across your organization.
How You Can Use It Today
- Critical SKUs: Get notified when best-sellers approach low stock
- Client-level monitoring: Apply alerts per client to ensure SLA compliance
- Warehouse oversight: Track inventory levels at specific locations
- Error prevention: Make sure “Available” inventory is always accurate before sales channels oversell
The Bottom Line
Product Stock Alerts give you peace of mind by keeping inventory levels visible and actionable. Whether you’re managing a single warehouse or a complex, multi-client operation, alerts ensure you’ll know the moment stock gets low—so you can reorder on time and keep fulfillment running smoothly.
