Warehance supports signature confirmation on shipments across supported carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, and others). The signature option is controlled at the client level and must be enabled before it appears on orders.
Step 1: Enable Signature Selection for the Client
- Navigate to General Settings in the left sidebar.
- Click on the Clients tab.
- Select the client whose orders should have signature confirmation.
- Click on the Settings tab within the client details.
- Find the Show Signature Selection toggle and enable it.
This setting must be enabled per client. Once enabled, the signature option will appear on all orders belonging to that client.
Step 2: Set Signature Requirement on an Order
- Navigate to Orders and open the order you want to update.
- In the order details, find the Settings section.
- Locate the Signature field and select one of the following options:
- None — No signature required
- Standard — A signature from any adult at delivery is required
- Adult — A signature from an adult 21+ is required (commonly used for alcohol shipments)
Step 3: Bulk Update Signature on Multiple Orders
If you need to set signature requirements on many orders at once:
- Go to the Orders table.
- Select the orders you want to update using the checkboxes.
- Click Bulk Edit (or the bulk actions menu).
- Set the Signature Requirement field to your desired option.
- Apply the changes.
The signature requirement will be passed to the carrier at the time of label generation. Make sure the selected carrier service supports signature confirmation — not all services on every carrier support it.
