The Locations Capacity Report provides a clear view of your warehouse space, helping you quickly see which locations are available, occupied, or partially utilized. Use this report to manage inventory efficiently, onboard new customers, and optimize warehouse operations.
Accessing the Report:
- From the left-hand menu, click Reports.
- Select Location Capacity.
- Choose the warehouse you want to view (if you have only one warehouse, this will be the default selection).
Using Filters:
- Pickable / Non-Pickable Locations: Filter locations based on whether they can be picked.
- Location Type: Filter to see specific types of locations.
Understanding the Charts and Metrics:
- Overall Location Utilization Chart:
- Green = Available locations
- Orange = Occupied locations
- Shows overall occupied percentage
- Key Metrics (to the right):
- Total locations
- Available locations
- Occupied locations
- Occupied percentage
- Available capacity percentage
- Location types count
- Capacity Utilization by Location Type (Bar Chart):
- Displays occupancy for each location type
- Can sort alphabetically or by occupied percentage
- Block Chart View:
- Each block represents a location type with total count and occupancy percentage
- Hover over blocks for more detailed info
- Color shading:
- Green = More availability
- Orange = Moderate occupancy
- Red = High occupancy
- Detailed Breakdown Table:
- Provides a full list of all locations
- Ideal for checking space availability and planning inventory management
